Rex, 17, from Bristol. Still getting to grips with Tumblr (what the hell is this thing?) Interested in a variety of things but never as much as I want to be.
I love life, thoroughly and completely: every facet, nook and cranny awes me, and I see it as a waste to do anything less than what you can. << Not sure whether that's naïve or lucky.
I'm fascinated by languages, linguistics, Classics, cryptography, poëtry, Japan, rationality, humanism, environmentalism, the exotic, vodou, typewriters, clockwork and steam, the science of the brain and finding out what it can do, culture, astrophysics (a very tame form of), and other stuff.
I enjoy reading (though I can never, EVER do enough of that, sadly), writing, singing, jogging, bungee jumping, pissing off religious fundamentalists/religion in general, eating peanut butter, drinking or getting drunk (Bacchus rules, actually), deliberately not adhering to social norms or whatever is expected of me, travelling (it's all I ever want to do). I have an embarrassingly large amount of rôle models.
This is a personal blog. I will post whatever the fuck I like, it will invariably sound pretentious, I may offend you, you will deal with it :)
Ask me ANYTHING and I will do my utmost to answer you accurately and enthusiastically.
No idea what this blog is really going to be about. I'll try and post every day, why not, though probs won't keep it up. I'll try min. one thought per day. Look forward to seeing what you guys have all got to say :) xx
